So many people are lamenting today that they had to vote for the lesser of 2 evils.

They suggest that people are not voting on substance.

Well- I can’t speak for others, but I DID vote for substance and I do NOT consider it a vote for the lesser of two evils.

I voted for a vision of America that is inclusive.

I voted for the most qualified candidate ever to run for the presidency.

I voted for a woman- for my great grandmother, grandmother, mother, daughter and son- all feminists. (Actually- my grandfather, father, and husband should be included there too).

I voted so that girls can now see themselves in the corner office or the oval office.

I voted for the candidate who will protect a woman’s right to choose what is right for her family, her body, her health and her life.

I voted for sensible gun laws.

I voted for the expansion of protections for voting rights.

I voted for improving Obamacare.

I voted for protecting the environment.

I voted for civil rights.

I voted for women’s rights.

I voted for LGBTQ rights.

I voted for a candidate who has fought for the poor (even if she is friendly with wall street.).

I voted ON substance.

I voted FOR substance.

#Imwither by CHOICE, not by default.
